FTV AND CCC AT PLAZA DE MAYO, WITH A VIRGIN ON HIS HAND PICKETEER D'ELIA CALLED TO A STRIK

Buenos Aires, Dec, 19th (ANRed/Indymedia Arg) - Columns of the Federation of house and a Land (FTV) and the CCC went to Plaza de Mayo at 14:20, after marching from Pueyrredon Bridge and finished at 15:40. More than 1500 people from all over the country, heading Senator Luis D' Elia, who leads the Federation who takes part on the CTA, Centra of Argentinian Workers.

In a part of the plaza prepared to give a speech, D´Elia shared the speaking with Juan Carlos Alderete and the CTA heads Victor De Genaro, Marta Maffei and Hugo Yasky.
Between the speakers, Juan Carlos Alderete, who leads CCC remembered the young "POcho" Leprati for the firts time sice he was murdered. Leprati was murdered on december 20th, 2001 from a bullet in his head when he asked Santa Fe's policeman not to shoot because there were kids. Before the close of the act, which was transmitted on tv, Luis D´Elia showed a small statue of the Inmacculate Virgin to remain his participation on the anti-militar marchs in the early 80's, but did not talk about Leprati who militated in the same place as he.
The CCC and the FTV kept a very close relation with the National Government. Those organisations accepted to take part in a National Council of Crisis, an organism created by the National Government to give the emplyee plans where participates municipal, bussines men, religious and non guvernamental organistaions of unemployeed. This councils were considered as "non democratic and a vay to keep quiet the social protest."
Today the Senator ends the year as chief of the only organisation which was recognised by the last National Ciuncil of the CTA, which was made on Mar del Plata the last weekend. As a preview step the picketeer organisation Barrios de Pie (Nighbourhood standing up) was expelled of the FTV on his last council.
For an end, D' Elia said that "there are more than 300 thousand people whit working plan whitouth recieving money. They ask us peace, but there can't be peace where there is infair things. Pace comes along with patience, but we are getting very nervous."
On Dec. 19th and 20th, 2001 Seantor Luis D´Elia was one of the headers who asked as less as possible intervention of that sindicate on the popular rebelion that today he conmemorates in Plaza de Mayo.
