Students from Santiago demand investigation

Tuesday 29 of June Students cried ‘enough!’ yesterday in noisy and unusual protests in the area of the Instituto Superior del Profesorado Provicial Nº 1 of Santiago del Estero.
Their demands were diverse and involved the quality of education, the co-government, the surrender of accounts, the system of designations and appointments inherited from juarismo and the pursuit and threats to students and teachers. They also demanded the urgent normalization of the institution, which has been stopped in process for seven years.
The Collective Student Action Alternative (CEAA) read an "open Letter of the students and public opinion of Santiago del Estero", in which they denounced "the lack of a rational dialogue and respect to dissent and criticism which have lead to the creation of of black lists to punish students and professors who question administrative acts and education taxes; the ‘eternisation’ of certain people in charge and the nonexistent information on the destiny of all the money that the institution collects annually".
