"Concentration In Support Of David Irving"
Last Saturday 10 of December there was made a concentration in front of the Austrian Embassy in Madrid in protest for the detention of David Irving and in support to this British Historian that has part of his work dedicated to the historical revisionism. The concentration was organized by a recently born political party, Alianza Nacional (National Alliance)
Approximately 100 persons gathered in the concentration, and considering that this event was announced only three days after and only trough internet and the mouth-to-ear, and that that weekend there was a bank holiday in Spain it is not a bad number.
Some of those present wore masks with the mouth crossed out, as a symbol of the lack of freedom of speech that there is in Europe. Others carried banners in wooden sticks with mottos asking for the freedom for David Irving and for the freedom of speech and thinking. In the first line they had a banner with the legend “Against the unique thought – For the freedom of speech”. At the same time three persons were giving leaflets to the pedestrians.
Three vans of police gathered there to control us, but as the embassy was in a floor in a big building and not in an isolated building they didn’t had many work.
Many of the pedestrian were surprised and didn’t know what was all this about, and some tourist made photos as souvenir.
During the concentration different mottos were shouted like “Freedom for David Irving”, “No more repression for Historians”, “No more repression, freedom of speech” or “People and Nation against repression”
After staying and hour in front of the embassy the concentration finished without any incident. The idea of the organizers is to repeat these concentrations while David Irving continues in prison, each 15 days, or each month.

It's fantastic to see that a country the size of Spain can muster 100 patriots who will rally for Free Speech and protest the jailing of David Irving and Ernst Zundel.
Freedom of speech and inquiry are the most important rights any of us have.
Freedom of speech is the basis for all rights, it is the cornerstone of ALL other freedoms, freedom of speech is the ESSENTIAL human right because without freedom of speech you can't know if there are violations that are being perpetrated against your other rights.
What is pathetic is that Americans and Canadians could only assemble, at best, 30 patriots for our Free Speech demonstrations for Ernst Zundel --
Below is a moving video on this important topic:

I think most Canadian's have been conditioned to think that what is going on with these arrests has nothing to do with free speech, but has everything to do with "hatred". So-called "hate" is a concept that is improperly defined and very much misunderstood by most people. The propaganda is very thick in Canadian society. Starting from childhood, we've been conditioned to think that giving up our right to speak out on any subject is somehow for the collective good. I agree, the state we're in is pathetic.
