'real' bullets used

For the non-spanish speaking people it should be put clearly that 'real' bullets are being used now by uniformed police, which is historical. Until now, 'real' (don't know the word for 'plomo') were used only by parapolice (as far as I know), since militar dictatorship is officially ended in Argentina.

plomo refers is lead bullets, we say "live" ammunition- as opposed to rubber ones
